i read that whole thing...didnt see anyone who actually drove out there.
I am going today...driving a 911 GT3 ( or Ferrari 458 or Lambroghini - but im leaning toward the 911 )
i just didnt know if anyone here has done this there.
Drive the GT3. I think for just showing up to drive on that kind of course, the GT3 will be the most complete experience of the three. It would be cool to be able to say you had driven one of the others, but I think you'll have a better experience with the Porsche.
(And I'm jealous).
yeah the GT3 is all wheel drive which is why i was leaning to that one. all the help i can get the better lol.
Im just curious if they allow you to "open it up" or if its pretty tame. ( and by tame i mean driving that i would never get to do in my car for fear of bending the chassis lol )
i am super excited just to sit behind 450+ hp tho. 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. 0-100 in just under 6.
I'm sure it's going to be awesome. I have never done one of those but I have heard stories and I think you get to do all you can handle with that car. For my birthday one year, I got racing school at Richmond motor-speedway in a stock car. My wife researched and this one school had the most actual racing. But I got rained out twice and then they relocated to New Hampshire (Loudon) and I never got to go.
As a side note, there's a guy in my neighborhood with a late model 911 Turbo. I swear he parks it in the driveway near the basketball goal and I always see his sons playing basketball around it. Crazy.
Lambos are AWD, too, and they look bonkers. I'd drive the Lambo, but that's just me.
I'm pretty sure the GT3 is RWD....but that's a good thing. RWD cars handle better. I would definitely go with the GT3. Close second would be the GTR.yeah the GT3 is all wheel drive which is why i was leaning to that one. all the help i can get the better lol.

Well don't really know how to describe other than incredible.
The GT3 was in the shop so I went with the Lamborghini.
As a kid you dream about muscle cars and horsepower, but never get to experience it. I did today ...485 hp. It's insanity and I see why guys do this for a living ...I was yaaaaahooooing on each straightaway run topping out at 155mph.
What's truly amazing is the braking...as the instructor noted when you buy a car like these you are paying for the engine and brake system.
You go from 150 to 70 in just 100 ft or so.
Cut the greatest part was in that Lamborghini at about 110 it hits another gear and you feel the push and you feel like you are floating off the seat. I even yelled out I'm flying.
This was quite thrilling and I most definitely will do again.
They have permanently set up here in New Orleans (they also travel this to various tracks across USA) and they also are doing a full road racing Mustang experience...it's a 1/2 day thing but guy said this will end up being their most popular. Rolling it out in a commercial on MNF Monday.
If anyone ever has the chance ...do it. To feel 485 hp is unlike anything you have ever experienced.
