I dont have a boat but I know there must be a place where you should be able to do some damage. Any help would be much appreciated.

Great spots vary depending on the conditions. If you're up for a drive, the Grand Isle area has some really good spots. Around Nola I'm not too sure.

This is a situational spot, but when the water temperature gets to 40%, Bayou LaLoutre in Shell Beach is loaded down with redfish. This week, reports are people catching reds every single cast and limiting out on 18-25 inch fish in very little time. Unfortunately, that will probably end today with the temps warming up. It looks like next week another freeze may come, which means the latter part of the week may be similiar. If you go, when you get to the bridge that seperates Shell Beach and Hopedale, just turn left and find a spot to park and drop the line from the bank with a dead shrimp on the bottom. If you have children, this is a great place for them to fish.

I think the pier off the twins spans just reopened.
