Anyone tried Abitas "The Boot" beer yet? (1 Viewer)

I bought a sixer of it a couple of weeks ago. It was ok, but not something I'll get again most likely.

I agree that there's a lot of good things going on in state other than Abita. But as someone who thinks drinking an IPA is as enticing as chewing a Tylenol, a lot of what is out there is too hoppy and an over saturation of pale ales.

Abita should package their Macchiato into six packs. That may be one of the best beers I've ever had, but they don't package it and I haven't seen it at a restaurant in a while. Damn shame too.

NOLA's Irish Channel Stout and Darkest Before Dawn are very good too. But then again, stouts and porters are my brews of choice.

Irish Channel Stout is sooooo good. But it needs to be gumbo weather for me to really enjoy a stout.
