Used in common speech to mean regardless. I have always said "anyway" without the s at the end. Is "anyways" even a real word? But I hear people say it with the s all the time.

Examples:
"I was going there anyway!" or "Anyway, I don't really care."

Do you add the s? I wonder if it's one of those regional things (like soda or pop)? Kind of has a midwest sound to it.

"Anyway" is an adverb. "Any way" is a noun phrase. "Anyways" is never standard usage to write.
