You don't have to designate to return at the time you place a player on IR. You are able to take two off once they've been on for 8 weeks.

I hate to ask "what next", but man . . .

Let’s be real. We lost a great QB as our starting QB. Do we believe the loss of Anzalone will matter, as far as our record goes? I don’t think so. If we cannot score TD’s, it will not matter if we get beat by say 14, or 21. We will not be able to score.

As a matter of fact, can anyone tell me when we scored a TD, with Teddy at QB, because I honestly do not remember.

Speculation - Brees not going on IR is creating a roster problem. He has to be carried on the active 53. Analzone may not have gone on IR otherwise. We have a lot of capable LBs already.
