There are some players you have a hard time remembering... but Deuce McAllister is not one of them. I'll always remember how Ricky Williams showed his arse and wouldn't welcome Deuce after we drafted him. Yet Deuce welcomed Reggie Bush with open arms, and was an excellent mentor in the transition.

What do you remember the most and/or appreciate about #26? (#22 at Ole Miss):

I'm so glad the Saints activated him shortly before the playoffs to enable him to get a ring.

:gosaints:

I think it was 2003. The year when he had about 9 or 10 100+ yard games in a row. Some of those were even in the 160ish range. Good times. That's the year Deuce went from weighing 222 lbs. to 235 lbs. and was a gym rat that year to get ready for his new starting job.

Greatest running back in Saints history. Best memory is him carrying the entire Eagles defense into the end zone. It's a shame injuries ended his career. Dude could have reached great numbers.

Wow how many 20 and more yards he bust that video.

Watch the whole thing, but to see one my most favorite Deuce memories...go to 5:05.

He was the greatest Saints running back of all time. We will never have another Deuce and we really miss him.

The run against the Eagles, with the whole team pushing and him fighting forward.

Defines Deuce and that 2006 team for me

Wow, I guessed now that I'm older I realize how much of a pure runner Deuce was for us. There were a lot of big runs in that video. It just makes him even more great to call him a Saint.

I know Falcons fans don`t miss him you can make a 8:00 minute highlight of Duece knocking down the Falcons D like bowling pins.

I love Deuce. It was amazing watching him play while I was growing up. Can't wait to tell my kids about him.

i forgot how shifty he was.
probably could have played a couple more years if drew had not thrown that terrible pass which resulted in his knee ligament getting torn. i think it was his knee?

I teared up little, the best all around back we have ever had! I loved the way he protected the ball! His cutback were awsome!

I will forever remember the falcons safety Keon Carpenter #29 bc of how bad Duece trucked him! It's at 28 seconds and again at 4:02 I think. Best saints rb... Wish we had him now!

Wow until watching the very first clip, I completely forgot that Brees, Deuce, Colston, and Horn all shared a field together on the same team. Can you imagine what it'd have been like to have those 4 firing on all cylinders at the same time for several seasons straight? Man, what could've been!
