My daughter was trying to grab camera when i took the photo, so it was an empty hand. i shrunk the photo using Gimp, and put in in her hand in original photo, then did the same again. then again.

Gimp- Get Gimp - Like Photoshop, Only 100% FREE

The only problem with Gimp it doesn't work with Raw files. (There's a patch but it sucks.) Other than that it's one of the best free software programs out there.

That "Nifty 50" is a great lens... My wife used it until I bought her that 2.8 24-70 a while back and that's all she uses now... She does use the 50 every now and then...

Is your 2.8 24-70 a Nikon by any chance? I got one and the zoom ring is sticky...grinds thru the motion... seems lots of people are having that problem..more then dissappointing for a $1,700 lens.

Yes, It's a Nikkor lens... No problems

Is it new? I suggest you send it back to the retailer or contact Nikon....
