I know it's impossible to measure, but I can only think of 1 critical penalty all year long:
Against Pittsburgh, up 24-17 and taking the ball to start the 2nd half, the Saints were driving with hardly any resistence, looking to take a commanding 31-17 lead, and Jahri Evans stupidly lays someone out after the play was over. Cost us an inevitable score and would have forced Pittsburgh to throw the rest of the game (in which case I know the Saints would have won the game).
Also, if they keep a stat on false starts, I would be shocked if the Saints aren't in the top 3 in fewest false starts.
