And let's not forget the best receiver we had hardly even showed up, through no fault of his own I'd think. (Callaway)

Good points - like ranking QBs (or any other position really) it probably doesn’t make much sense to do a 1-32 ranking- but I do think you can slot teams into tiersTo be one of the best organizations, imo, you need to withstand the turnover whenever a major part of a franchise leaves. Thats why I wouldn’t put a team like the Bucs on the list when they won in ‘02 but completely fell off the map for eighteen years.
The Steelers are the gold standard for me. Only three coaches in the last fifty years. Each a HOFer in their own right.
I think it’s too early to tell since it’s only been one game post Brees, but I’m very optimistic about the future and this season.
First, it's just one game and we need to at least make the playoffs to be in that conversation. I think the Ravens are the current gold standard because they have won 2 rings in a 20 + time span with 2 different QBs. I would put Pitt right behind them because they are always in the hunt. The Pats are kinda in the same boat as us can the team be a contender with a new QB. This is about Payton making the HOF at this point because I think Walsh is the only coach to win rings with 2 different QBs.If this team makes the playoffs, then they should be in consideration as the best organization in football right now.
Pats, Steelers, Ravens, Packers (yes even with their current dysfunctionality) would be in the conversation.

Saints, Steelers, maybe Pats and Chiefs in the top
Jets, Giants, Jags in the bottom
Everyone else in between depending on how you weight different criteria
and admittedly, I didn't think putting the contracts guy in the top position was going to work. It works because we have a coach who knows talent and they brought in others who know talent. They all work together so well that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. And lets not forget the importance of an owner who doesn't get involved and gives them whatever they need. I hope we can keep them all together for as long as possible. It’s crazy to think Loomis has been here since 02. Even pre Payton/Brees.
Gotta question the Pats on this list... I think their mistakes were covered by having the second best QB in footballIf this team makes the playoffs, then they should be in consideration as the best organization in football right now.

I said this 10 years ago. And we've done it.If this team makes the playoffs, then they should be in consideration as the best organization in football right now.

Thanks! Was it Theisman, Shuler, Williams?Joe Gibbs = 3 QB's
