It took a pandemic and even that didn't fully derail us.It's funny how so many fans of other teams in the comment section are saying yeah you see all that spending is catching up with them while doing the Bird man hand rub. LOL, they didn't know how wrong they were. Sorry other teams fans, I know it's been 17 years but you might have to wait another year to see the Saints organization totally collapse.
Just brainstorming here but maybe part of it is that since the Saints are considered a smart market team and all the success since 2006 has really made the league office and the large market owners upset because it flips the script of the “lovable loser” “aints” franchise that only the locals followed plus if the Saints were to become losers again they would be forgotten in the sports worldFor some reason everybody wants us to turn back into the Aints.
