For those who didn't watch he's basically just talking about how bad the contracts are for Cam, AK, and MT. He acts like these contracts were just given out this season. It's easy to second guess contracts years after the fact but at the time that was the price of poker to keep those players. Few teams would've let them walk at the time the contracts were given.

LOL, they didn't know how wrong they were. Sorry other teams fans, I know it's been 17 years but you might have to wait another year to see the Saints organization totally collapse.

Oh, it's a whole lot more than those 3 but the Lions look like they are in good hands now. It will be interesting to see how they build off last season.

Basically, Cam, AK, & MT have craptastic contracts, & because of that they can't be traded to other teams,... because shipping out superstar talent is how to win championships!

Exactly. Things have changed in those three weeks. Things this guy says -

Lots of crappy contracts. Both CGM and Cam have restructured their deals.

Dennis Allen isn’t the answer at HC. Allen’s been given the players he needs to succeed now it’s up to him.

He concedes the Saints might win the NFC South but claims that doesn’t mean anything. The playoffs are the playoffs, anything can happen.

Three weeks ago with thoroughly incomplete roster and being nearly $60 million over the cap he might have a point but since then things have changed…..a lot.

Just brainstorming here but maybe part of it is that since the Saints are considered a smart market team and all the success since 2006 has really made the league office and the large market owners upset because it flips the script of the “lovable loser” “aints” franchise that only the locals followed plus if the Saints were to become losers again they would be forgotten in the sports world
