Are you happy with the interim’s three wins and lower draft position? (30 Viewers)

So much anti-tanking last year when it was obvious the team was cooked. But we win a few meaningless games with Rizzi and everyone is high fiving.

I feel like Loomis and this fanbase are so short sighted. We're either going to miss out on a QB we like or have to trade more picks to get him.

I don't even know if the rumor they like Ward is true, but regardless, it was irresponsible to not do everything possible to lose and almost luck into wins against Washington and Carolina.

Question is moot. None of the QBs likely to go in the first round are truly first-round material anyway. Mix in the guys sure to be available next year, and you'd see this year's first-rounders going in the fourth or fifth instead. Or even lower.

Once the Saints are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs if they lose games then so be it. Once we have no chance my mind goes directly to the draft. But even then, I have never actively rooted for the Saints to lose a game. I don't know how that works. Go falcons! Lol nah.

Now having said that I could see a situation where the FO feels like it might be best to sit crucial star players at the end of the season with an eye to the future. If they win they win. If they lose then oh well, better draft pick. I'm talking about a situation where one of the top 2 or 3 picks are on the line. I'm not talking about backing into like the 9th pick.

Tanking is an abomination.

If you welcome intentional losing into your franchise, you are destined to have players who realize how much easier it is to not give a crap and phone it in.

The Saints are right where they should be - and I’m proud as hell that they fought to win what they did.

You want to lose on purpose for a draft pick, so be it - but you are brining a bad precedent into the locker room when you plan to fail.
