Which is why mask wearing is so beneficial.
It significantly reduces viral load of wearer and when all are masked, viral loads are dramatically reduced

But, we all already knew that.
Mask wearing in elementary schools? My grandson has an ongoing rash around his mouth from the masks. I see how 1st graders wear masks. I am sooo anti mask for young children. I believe it hurts them more than it helps them. Any studies on "masks", worn improperly, as they all are in that age group,, actually helping to stop the spread in elementary age kids, who are at near zero risk from covid? Can we all agree that masking children is not good?? Before you all down thumb me...can you provide a peer reviewed study that shows how average elementary aged kids wearing masks (improperly) have helped to stop the spread. This for a virus that does not threten them.

I wouldn't want to be trapped in a room full of unmasked children.

Masked children, itching and scratching faces... how is that any different? But yeah, I don't want to be trapped in a room full of any kids. I think we were wrong in closing schools, masking kids.

I mean...we already pay teachers like crap, let's show them how we really feel and threaten their health while we're at it. Children wearing masks is as much, if not more, about protecting the adults who are trapped in a room full of kids. While kids have shown to be a lot less likely to get deathly sick from COVID, they can be symptomatic and asymptomatic carriers.

I guess it depends where you go? I got my booster at Walmart on a Saturday afternoon, no wait or appointment.

Elementary school masked children are protecting nobody. Have you seen them? The masks are pulled off to scratch..cough, etc. The "masked" kids are not protecting adults. My daughter in law, fully vaxxed (as well as having the antibodies from recovering from covid) can certainly attest to her students, as a first grade teacher. Adults, and those at risk should vax, but relying on masked kids to protect you is just stupid.
