this is just like my brohter. He is a big evangelical christian and he and his wife got covid earlier this year and I was worried both would get really sick. Luckily they got through it. Although they denied they had covid the whole time. We know they did though cause his employer made him stay home for 2 weeks.
Neither wear masks nor have gotten any vaccines of any kind. Sad part is they have 3 kids and none are vaxxed for anything and they are "home schooled" which means my SIL does work with them like 2 times a week and that's it. It's sad as their 8 year old can't read. He is soooo far behind compared to my son who is in 3rd grade Gifted it makes me sad.
Like what are we doing?? When did we lose any common sense??

My brother's religious beliefs changed over the years, we were raised strict Catholic. I certainly don't blame him for pursuing other avenues but I believe his latest kick made death very attractive to him.
I feel for you with your brother's family, holding your children back from growing, learning and succeeding is a sad thing.
Common sense is becoming extinct I fear.

This thread is fast moving and has many pages but back in October I posted in here a similar story. My uncle basically went through the same thing as your brother. He became involved in this really cult-ish church ((where ironically many of the parishioners home school their children) also if you want to read about some really bat shirt crazy religious weirdos, it's called the Philadelphia Church of God)) and he & his wife refused to get vaccinated. They had been sick for 2 weeks when my uncle said he was having trouble breathing.

EMS took him to the hospital, he had a blood clot, medically induced coma, put him on his stomach, etc. 10 days later he was dead.

If someone has both of their shots (or the J&J) but doesn’t get a booster is there a point where they become at as much risk as someone who’s unvaccinated?

Would that point be at a year? 18 months?

If they have properly functioning T-cells abd B-cells, no. Antibodies do not stay in the body forever, but T-cells do and they are the ones that alert the body to produce antibodies.

Many doctors and research scientists have done videos on youtube on the difference between antibodies and T-cells and their functions.

I have plenty of words. Some people are just butt crevasses and don't give a fork about anyone else. They probably didn't want to be inconvenienced by having to keep their kids home, so off to school you go. This shirt makes me irate.
