The whole point of advertising is generating money and the NFL makes money by selling that space. Well if its true the outage gave advertisers more exposure and thus make more money, then maybe outage won't be such a big deal sice it's all about the Benjamin's!

“What was nice about the power outage is everybody jumped on their mobile devices when the power went out and everybody started talking about the game but moreso about the ads, which was a positive development because it gave the early advertisers an even bigger impact,” Calkins said. It’s a consequence of marketing’s speed that during the Super Bowl advertisers are creating new messages every few minutes.

It made for a better game no doubt because it turned the mo, and John Harbaugh is on NFL network now saying that it wasnt that big of a deal, but it was pretty bad. I don't think it cost NO the 2018 game because everything else was flawless, but it will be used against us.

was NOT any fault of New Orleans or dome unless they were responsible for building out Beyonce's set that overloaded the system.

Might also depend on media, if they don't write a bunch of stories and make it a bigger deal than it was, then it should go away pretty fast. But if they make a big deal out of it and keep reporting it, can make it a huge deal.

The details as to what exactly caused the issue and if it was fault of Superdome maintenance, a network that overloaded the circuits, people that put on halftime show did something wrong, etc.

Best case scenario is they find out it was due to NFL or some out of town company and not Superdome maintenance.

If you remember the 49ers had the ball when the lights came back on and the Raven pretty much smacked them at will to end the drive. Not really a sign that they lost momentum, but hey the talking heads have got to find something to talk about when the ball is just sitting there.

Thats was a 3rd and 14 and they forced a punt after 1 play.

But it was clear that the ravens had no energy no activity on their sidelines and this correlated with the niners making a run immediately makes that argument a strong one.
