As an Eagles Fan (1 Viewer)

That game was so long ago, I dont remember the circumstances, the two things that I do remember was michael lewis giving up an easy td , and the Saints marching off a 7 minute drive

actually it was like an 8 and a half minute drive....but whos counting

Wow, haven't even won their division yet, and will have to play a wild card round game, but they are on here already. That loss on October 15 must still be eating at them...

Only an ill Cowboy fan would come on this board and talk @#$% after what we've done this year to teams.

Beast From The East where are you????

:_rofl: :_rofl: :_rofl: :_rofl:

Hey Verse, good to see you back. What's the fans reaction to Garcia over Donovan? Looks like Garcia's making a bid to start somewhere again. Anyway, it's always better to beat the best teams on your way to the Super Bowl to get you ready to face the best the AFC has to offer so I really don't mind playing your Eagles again. I still think the result will be the same and maybe the score will be a little higher against you this time around. The teams you beat recently haven't faced a mobile QB the likes of Garcia and I think that's one of the main reasons you beat those teams and got back in the mix, cause I still don't think your O-Line is that good. I know Donovan is mobile, but not like he used to be and not like Garcia is. We, on the other hand have faced extremely mobile QB's most of the season and always do twice a year in Michael Vick and do very well defending those type QB's which will styme Garcia when next we meet. I too feel that either our Saints or your Eagles can beat the Bears and I will also agree that if the Eagles do beat us in the playoffs that they go all the way.

Oh, Verse, I forgot, Reggie is an even bigger threat than he was the first time we played you.

We crushed the Giants and 'Boys, the Iggles didn't We did lose to the Skins, but they only beat them by 2. We are playing much better.

Verse??? I bet ya didnt think that LSSpam would dig up your past comments huh? Its not close this time...We blow the Beagles out by 30 like the rest.....Happy new year

Hey Boxer, you just reminded me of something from a long time ago. When I was a kid, I saw Jim Mora in the airport the day before we played the Iggles in the playoffs. I said, "Hey Coach, we're going to destroy the Eagles tomorrow!" He said, "Well, one point wouldn't be so bad". The Eagles, unlike the Giants and Cowboys, are playing solid team ball. Can we beat them? Of course we can. But I wouldn't go so far as to say that we would pulverize them like the aforementioned teams. I'm sure the players aren't going to underestimate them...jmho.

When the time comes the Saints will not underestimate anyone. The Eagles have to make it here first before we can speculate on this matchup. They are hot right now with a qb who is making the most of his second wind. There defense is playing lights out right now which is more the reason of there success than Garcia and the offense. They still will have to win a wildcard game to possibly get a second game with us. The Saints will be licking thier chops for whoever the football gods send to the dome. The Saints Are Comming!

The best of Verse!

Lol, at all those little Iggles fans predicting that they would blow us out, they could have gotten it worse like the Cowboys and gotten thrashed on national tv.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Eagles fans! :hihi:

Kidding. To be fair, he came back and took his crow so all is good.

The only team still in the running that scares me less than Philly is Carolina.

Minnesota and Green Bay as well. St. Louis isn't far behind.

"Fear Factor" list, from most to least

1. Dallas (they don't scare me but someone has to be 1)
2. Bears
3. Falcons
4. Eagles
5. Seattle
6. St. Louis
7. NY Giants
8. Carolina
9. Green Bay
10. Minnesota

I didn't really consider Minny, GB, or St. Louis.

The Giants with confidence scares me. If they win two in a row, you never know. Seattle definitely scares me more than Philly. They have a solid WR group, and regardless of their struggles, Alexander and Hasselbeck will always scare me in the playoffs.

I also didn't add the Bears because I was talking first round. STL can score with anyone.

1. Bears (they create turnovers and we lose when we lose the turnover battle)
2. Seattle
3. Dallas
4. Atlanta
5. Giants
6. STL
7. Philly
8. Carolina
9. GB
10. Minny
