If we were to look outside the organization I'd take a long look at Doug Pederson.
Dude won a super bowl in his 2nd season as a head coach. Got canned because Carson Wentz took a dive and the Eagles GM can't draft.

I'm in no way qualified to have an opinion on any coach hiring. I disagreed with the Payton hire 16 years ago. I also disagreed with the Brees signing, I thought that drafting Leinart was the right choice. Now I keep my opinions to myself and let the people who are paid to make those decisions make them.

CSP is someone you dont replace.

When time comes, you put him in GM or Asst GM position.

I believe he makes majority of the decisions in building this team which is what separates good teams from bad ones where the GM or owner is fully in control of the rosters.

16 years ago I whined incessantly that CSP was a bargain basement signing that would be easy for a meddling old owner to control.

I’m not qualified to even have an opinion on coaching.

Don’t feel bad. I really didn’t want to get Drew. To me he was a big risk with the shoulder and I didn’t think he’s was all that impressive in San Diego.

I know you weren’t being serious but for the level he’s coaching at he’s done a great job. His recruiting so far has been great and the kids love playing for him.

I think Dennis Allen would probably get the nod. Maybe Carmichael?
Don't know why, but I feel like it would be an in-house move for continuity.
Might even help us retain guys like Neilson, maybe moving up to coordinator.

But honestly, who knows? Really don't want to consider this.
