As rosters stand today how do you rank NFC South (1 Viewer)

Isn't Rivera coaching Washington?

Yeah, but notice I have Carolina 2nd in the division. I'm expecting them to improve with Rivera gone. I expect Carolina to get better without him, and Washington to well... still be awful.

Saints
Bucs/Falcons
Panthers

We win the division but I do think it's closer than y'all think and not b/c of them but b/c of us. For two reasons, we always have tough games against our division, we never seem to play them dominant, we always seem to keep the games close and even tho the signing of E. Sanders is fantastic, I don't see where our roster/team has really changed that much esp on D. That's why the draft is so important for us b/c I do think we need a game changer on our D. I say this also b/c I wish I could trust Davenport and Rankins more. I really do but I can't. They need to stay healthy and if they do then yes we can dominate.

Now, I do think Brady just got a payday b/c I think he's washed but I do think he will bring a winning culture there plus the league loves him and the guy is kinda lucky so the team may get lucky too. Same w/ the Falcons really, they usually have bounce back years and since last year was so dismal for them they could get it this year. Panthers have a good offense now but there D is depleted and they're just getting TB so they need time to come together.

Man that would be awesome. No matter what else happens Sean and Drew’s tenure has been the best time to be a Saints fan. Never knew winning like this was possible lol.
Completely agree actually this may sound dumb but I'd put these years ahead of the others besides the superbowl year

If we factor in depth and inevitable injuries: overall Saints, Bucs, Falcons, Panthers. At every commensurate offensive skill player in the division I would take what the Saints have on offense over every other team.

Quarterback: Brees, Brady, Ryan, Bridgewater. Brady is new to the division and gelling with a new team with the coronavirus is going to favor continuity. Taysom Hill as a backup brings a dimension to the overall QB position in short yardage rivals Lamar Jackson or Cam Newton. Running Back: Kamara, McCaffery, Gurley, Jones. McCaffery is a function of volume. He requires so many touches to get his productivity, I would prefer Kamara. Gurley is injury prone. Wide receiver one: Thomas, Jones, Evans, Anderson. Thomas set the NFL record. There is an argument Jones is more talented, but Thomas' numbers speak for themselves. Wide Receiver 2: Sanders, Ridley, Godwin , Moore . Sanders has been in big games and number one wideout in the past. Tight End: Cook, Howard, Hurst, Thomas . Cook's production blows all three away combined. Left Tackle: Armstead, Matthews, Okung, Smith, Left Guard: Peat, Lindstrom, Bailey, Center: McCoy, Mack, Jensen, Paradis, Right Guard: Worford, Carpenter, Mouton, Stinnie Right Tackle: Ramczyk, McGary, Little.

On Defense there are few more individual play makers but again the Saints are loaded with talent. Overall: Saints, Bucs, Falcons, Panthers. With the exit of Kuechly in Caronlina the Panthers D has lost its leader. The Falcons Jarrett and Deon Jones are solid. Neal was good but has been injured twice. Bucs's Shaquill Barrett is a budding star. Suh is overrated. The Bucs secondary is a joke. The only non-Saints players in the NFC South to make the pro bowl on defense were Grady Jarrett and Shaquil Barrett, now that Kuechly is gone. Saints have Jordan, Lattimore, and Davis was robbed.

On special teams the Saints kicker, punter, and return specialist are all the best in the division.

While I hope we have the best roster and better depth than our division rivals, we really need to see how it plays out....

WR2 = I like Sanders alot, even though he is aging, he can still play. But there is no way I would take him (all things remaining the same) over Godwin, who is an up and coming player.

Defense - if the Bucs upgrade their secondary I think they could be the best D in the division. Our secondary looks good on paper but we have too many players that are inconsistent (Latt, Marcus Williams) JackRabbit should help but he is nearing the end of his career. Atlanta's D if healthy could improve as well....

Seems fair to say from your replies that the movement of Brady and Bridgewater to our division opponents shakes up the possibilities a bit.

I just don't see either turning their team into a contender the first year. Only the Falcons keep either out of last place.
