T-Mac, Higgins, Ayomanor, and Williams are all Big Xs. Bech can probably play all over, but I wouldn't call him a Big X nor would I call Lacy a Big X, but he can play it. Ayomanor and Bech are about the same height/weight so they are similar. Harris will probably start as a Big Z and develop into a Big X.

My preference would be trade for Johnston, draft Jeanty, Savion Willaims and Belton. Sign Becton. The O-line is fixed with that scenario, we add size/play making ability to the WR position and we get a stud RB to rote the rock allowing AK to evolve and extend his career.
Not a fan of trading for a WR , we'd have to give up picks and they are expensive. I'm a believer that good WRs can be found on day 2 and 3 in every draft so I'd be taking one almost every draft to develop them

Trade Ruiz to the Chargers. They don't have a C on the roster and he'd reunite with Harbaugh who he played for at Michigan. Player for player trades rarely occur, so I doubt it would happen, but it addresses a need for both teams.

The draft is always the best way to acquire talent, but it's not the only way. With limited picks, teams have to look at other ways.

Drafting a RB at 9 only to give him 6-8 touches a game is criminal team building.

Why exactly? We did it with Bush @2. We also have Kamara who may be in his last year of a high producing. On top of that, a rookie still needs to condition their body for the rigors of the NFL. We always see rookies at all positions play limited roles their rookie year. Why should this be any different?

It's silly to think Jeanty wouldn't be splitting reps if he's drafted by a team with a pro-bowl RB. Saints, Ravens, Eagles... Likely even the Patriots (which is who I think will draft him) he would likely be splitting reps with Stevenson.

The "6-8 touch" thing is based on someone's post. Jeanty would be the day one starter on any team that's in position to take him.

Yeah I’m not buying this 6-8 touch bs if we drafted Jeanty. Most likely scenario is Kamara’s workload is drastically reduced so he isn’t needed to be as much of an in between the tackles runner as he’s been in recent years. Kamara would likely see 10-15 touches a game and so would Jeanty (at least in his Rookie year). Beyond that, Jeanty likely becomes more of a workhorse in year 2 and beyond given Kamara’s age.
