N/S Autographed NFL ball; Goodwill > Goodell (1 Viewer)

I feel like a sellout having gotten this, but it was impossible to resist.

Donated some stuff at Goodwill today and went inside to look around. In a bin were two new footballs still in their packaging; a rubberized, grippy Wilson and this:



Both were $10. You can imagine which one I bought.

Anyway, looks like it might have been destined for an auction because it's signed by T.J. Yates, who played for a nearby HS:



I'll use the ball either way, but should I scrub off the sig since he's tainted by a stint with the Falcons? (among many teams)

Not going to lie, I would've bought it too for $10. It's not like the NFL made any money off your purchase.

I'd definitely scrub that signature off though, otherwise the first time you throw it, it might get picked off.
