Yeah man the only thing to do is keep yourself busy. Go out with friends, go to the gym, just get out there. Its going to take time, especially after a relationship that long

She was giving me the runaround about her commitment to us, and I got tired of her dropping hints about us not working out. I know she has been spending a lot of time with some other ******* and it all boiled down to "' ihave lots of doubts about us and she basically refuses to comedown to see me. I just need some ideas to get this whole bit of nastiness off my mind.

Distraction works best. Like 2fya said, do something that will occupy your mind. Don't sit and brood over it. Call your boys up and have a Madden tournament. Put away any photos/movies/her articles of clothing that would trigger you to think about her.
Don't drink too much and listen to music. Enjoy being young.

I can go out with a large group of hot girls tonight, but it's not what I want to do right now. I'd feel like I'd be bringing everyone else around me down.

understandable. just try not to show that your depressed, i know thats pretty hard though. i never had a long term relationship that ended, but i would think that at least getting out of the house would help. i know its not my place to throw this advice at you, being that i never been in that situation

Time is the only thing that is gonna take that pain away. I can tell you that the last thing you want to do is sit around and feel sorry for yourself. You should def get out with those chicks and try to have a good time.

If they're that hot, there's no way you'll be that unhappy to bring anybody down.

Closest strip club is in Columbus, GA. Not worth the price of admission. I'll probably meet up with those girls. All I need now is a ride.

Road trip. Favorite tunes you used to listen to before you met her, at full volume on the radio. Doesn't matter where you go. Drive until you're tired of driving. Sing at the top of your lungs with the windows down the whole way. Open highway, that's the ticket.
