Does anyone have a really good baked bean recipe?

I’ve tried several

I‘ve made recipes that call for one type of bean

I’ve made recipes that call for several types of beans

Soak the beans overnight, add all the herbs and spices and ingredients

Bake in the oven for hours

And the end result doesn’t taste any better than a can of Bush’s

Does anyone have a great, go to, knock your socks off, this didn’t come from no can baked bean recipe?

I made a batch of the beans from the recipe on this show and they came out pretty fantastic. But I haven’t made them a second time, cause I’m lazy, quite frankly.

it starts at the 15 min mark.

Pressure cook some beef with bbq sauce and throw that in there. Will make them a lot better, similar to adding the brisket ends to the beans. Brisket ends are better in the beans, but I don't have brisket ends.

A can of Bush's with two tablespoons of brown sugar and a few slices of applewood bacon on top is hard to beat
This, but add a few thin slices of onion and bell pepper and maple syrup.

I have a bean recipe that's killer although probably not exactly what you're looking for. I used to make my mom's that had
Pork n beans (she would only use show boat beans)
Brown sugar
Diced onion
Diced bell pepper
Mustard
Bacon layered across the top

Good beans until I found these:
3-4 cans of different beans (I use pork n beans, pinto beans, and butter beans)
Diced onion
1lb of burger cooked
1lb of sausage cooked
1 cup of whatever bbq sauce you like
Mix in a crock pot and heat everything up. Depending on your bbq sauce selection you may need some brown sugar added to sweeten them up.

Ingredients: 1 (8.3oz.) Can of Bush's Vegetarian, Baked Beans.

Tools: Spoon

Directions: Open can with pull tab.
Insert spoon into can
Use spoon to scoop beans
Shove beans into mouth
Remove spoon
Chew beans
Swallow beans
Repeat
