We do know that SP wanted Mahomes and although we will never know if he would've taken him if both he and Lattimore were both available, you have to believe that SP would go all out to get a QB who could be the next franchise QB of the organization for the next 15 years.

Yes, I know that publicly SP has said he had the CB rated higher, but looking at how good Mahomes has turned out, SP's evaluation of QBs is on point right now. Luck, Wentz and Mahomes are all guys SP had rated high.
