Just released yesterday. I downloaded it and played a few rounds. I'm kind of disappointed in it compared to the first one, but it grows on me the more I play it. I'll reserve my final judgement until the game comes out, but right now I definitely enjoy MW2 more.

If I could just be the MW2 footsoldier/guns while also playing in the BBC2 environment/vehicles, greatest game ever.

Its been out on the 360 for at least a week and I love it. I got fed up with the glitches (package run/infinite drops)in MW2 and IW refusal to make any patches. BC2 really feels like you need the team work and every class needs to work together, (ex assault class ammo, engineer rpg, the lmg class med packs, and sniper motion sensors/c4). I love the open environments where you hardly see any camping at all! Best of all is the vehicles which aren't overpowered at all if you use your cover wisely. The only part I miss about Mw2 is the knifing, in BC2 the animation is really slow and often times if your not behind the enemy you will be shot to death before finishing the motion. I play the recon class and im really happy they made the headshots really small unlike MW2 where you watch a killcam of a head shot and the guys aim is a full 2 inches from anywhere near your head. Also Mw2 had a problem with bullet lag which made you look like you never even shot when you know you did. I like how If you want the best sniper weapon you have to level up from the beginning weapon all the way to the best. This game just suits m tastes way more the MW2 did even though I really liked MW2 before the dual models and the rush knifers and the care package glitchers. All in all I cant wait for this game to come out Ive been playing the the demo almost every day and even though its a demo and I know the scores will be wiped out Im ranked around 4500 in the world right now. I suggest everyone download this demo and give it a fair go the controls are different from MW2 but you adapt quickly. If you downloaded Battlefield 1942 or was it 1943? or Battlefield BC1 and liked it you will enjoy this one way more.

I agree SouthernSaint. I enjoyed the demo. There is a bit of a learning curve, coming from MW2, where it's not every man for themselves. You do have to watch how your team is attacking or defending. And the vehicles are a blast, especially on the larger boards where you can jump on a 4-wheeler and zip over to a focus point.

maybe we should all try it out tonight together :hearts:

whoever is on later

I did download it the other night but haven't played it yet. I'm down to try it out if I hop on later.

i just played some more

i think i may end up liking this more than MW2

if you liked BF1943, this is a game for you

This game is really growing on me. I forced myself to finish BC1, but this one is gaining ground. When I first played the demo, I hated it. Now that I'm used to the controls, it's a blast. I don't have to wait for a chopper gunner to jump into a heli, or I can take off in a tank and mow down a couple buildings.

I'm going to have to check it out soon. I've been addicted to ME2 recently so it's tough to fit time in for a demo.

I'm guessing 24/7 did it because you failed to say how neither MW2 nor BC2 were as good as any Halo game.

:hihi:

Seriously, I don't know who did it, but I'm guessing it was a mistake.

aww and I almost put that I was having as much fun with the demo as I did playing Halo CE with 4 xboxes linked up with friends. lol

lol, count me in.

I had a few problems with it. The first thing I noticed was that they jumbled up the classes. In BC 1, I always played demo or support. They got rid of specialist and demo, then made them into one class as the engineer. They turned support into medic. Hey, I don't want to carry around a defibulator. To hell with that. The next thing is I feel like they made the controls kind of sticky. The movement feels very strange. Also, no 3rd person view in vehicles anymore?

I do like the fact that the knife isn't like MW2. That knife was WAAAAY to OP. For MW2 (how many people do you know running around with a riot shield and a pistol with a tactical knife? Snake doesn't count.) you don't actually even need to use guns. You just run around knifing and calling in killstreak rewards.

It wasn't me, although I considered it for not using paragraphs and the fact that it's the THIRD BC2 thread.

Inexcusable.

... I didnt start the thread and I didn't expect to type that much just kept thinking of things to add.

Also, no 3rd person view in vehicles anymore?

not sure what button it is but I know I've changed to 3rd person in a tank and the light transport vehicle before.
