The Chicago Bears (3-2) have had a long week to sit with their Week 5 loss to the Oakland Raiders (3-2).
The Bears have opened as 3.5-point favorites over the Saints, according to BetMGM.
Chicago will face quarterback Teddy Bridgewater as Brees continues to rehab from a thumb injury on his throwing hand. But the encouraging news is that it doesn’t appear this Week 7 game will be a back-up quarterback fest.
Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who dislocated his left shoulder on the first series against the Vikings in Week 4, is on track for a return to the lineup on Sunday.
