is awesome...me and my 6 yr old are making bugs with his new "Creepy Crawler Bug Maker"...just waiting for them to cool...

Also, Santa brought him Transformers, Gamecube & games, portable DVD player, Nerf Guns, and a RC Hover craft!!

Not to mention watching the 2 yr old enjoying his stuff

Who else is having a blast?

Thanks Santa!

It is really nice and sweet, yes SWEET to hear you guys say that you love having kids, and that it is cool! I admire that. :)

My two sons are my best friends. Getting down on the floor and playing on their level is something that I never take for granted. I'll have plenty of time to sit on the couch and lounge about. Right now, it's all about the kids.

Hellz yeah. If it'll ever stop raining here, my oldest and I are headed to the Jr. High field to fly her RC plane.

Last month, we were helping stranded salmon get upstream. Being a dad is a freakin' blast!.

I love being a dad but it scares the hell out of me. He is my best friend and he thinks I can do no wrong. I cant possibly imagine life without him being right there with me. Christmas is a ton of fun again because of him.

Obviously I love it or I wouldn't have so many. :D

When I got home from work my 11 yo daughter had taken her new stereo outside and she and my 9 yo son were out jumping on the new trampoline. Meanwhile, my 2 yo was upstairs enjoying his new giant wooden train set table and my 1 yo was enjoying his Little People Talking Zoo. I went out and took some pictures of the older two and talked to them for a while. Helped them get Toon Disney tuned in on the radio. Made it upstairs in time to help the 2 yo put some of the train set he had knocked over back up and have a go around the track or two. By the time I got downstairs the 1 yo was tired of toys and just wanted to sit in "Dadeeee's" lap for a while and have me sing silly songs I made up to him.

I couldn't imagine coming home everyday without them here. It makes everything else all worth it.

yep, we had a ball with the nerf guns Christmas morning. and I'm realy jealous of the woodworking table they got.

but this is the best:

One of my boys was adamant that Santa was bringing him a monkey for Christmas. And that Santa was gonna teach him to talk. Yeah.

<O:p</O:pSo Santa (coughMy Wifecough) sent him a letter a couple of weeks ago to the effect of “I had my elves catch a monkey for you but when they took him out of the cage to teach him to talk, he really scratched up one of the elves pretty badly. I decided that monkeys belong in the jungle or in the zoo, so I brought him to the <ST1:p<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" />New Orleans zoo, where you can visit him. But he’s still your monkey and you’ll know it’s him because he’ll look right at you.<O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p

So my son has been “so, can we go to the zoo today?” ever since. With the woodworking table, he built a window for Monkey’s cage, so it would feel like a real house. He also had a banana wrapped up for a Christmas present for him. Finally we were going yesterday. My wife is gonna call the zoo to see if he can bring the stuff. I tell her “those animals are on strict diets and there’s no way in hell they are gonna let some random people bring in a banana and feed it to an animal. Plus, have you seen the window? It’s got nails sticking out it!” She ends up getting the monkey curator on the phone. The curator says she knows the perfect monkey, she’ll meet us at the front gate and bring us to her. She completely went along with the story, just kinda bent back the nails and brought her the window (with which she was fascinated) and let her open the present and eat the banana. My boy was beside himself and on cloud nine.
<O:p</O:p

I am in awe of my wife.
