Bucs agreed to terms with Ben Troupe on a two-year contract, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
A nice fit for the athletic pass-catching tight end. Troupe will have to learn the offense, but he'll get a chance to compete to start with incumbent Alex Smith. While he's worth keeping an eye on, the Bucs tight ends will probably cancel each other out.

Boy, did he miss out on coming to a good team here in NOLA...that would of probably restarted his career...

Or the Saints just didn't like the visit with Troupe...if so, that's understandable!

Here's to signing Billy Miller!

Wont lose any sleep over this signing.

Back to square one. So who is the next sexy preference for our next tight end?

I think that this was a mistake on his part, but I also think that this would have been a key signing for us, so it bothers me to read this. I am starting to really hate the Bucs.

Johnson and Miller will be signed within 48 hours...there really isn't many good TE's out there.

This signing doesn't make sense to me. We must not have offered a contract. Why would he go somewhere where he will have to compete to get on the field? He would have been the starting TE with us and Brees would have made his stats look great.
