The Cincinnati Bengals will try and stop a three-game losing streak on Sunday afternoon, when they visit the Louisiana Superdome to take on the New Orleans Saints.

Cincinnati suffered a heartbreaking loss to the San Diego Chargers last week, losing 49-41 after blowing a 21-0 lead and giving up 42 points in the second half, the most allowed in a half in Bengals history. The crowd at Paul Brown Stadium was stunned by the defeat, which came despite the amazing days from both Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson.

Palmer passed for a career-high 440 yards with three TD strikes and a 131.1 rating, while Johnson had a career day with a franchise-record 260 yards and a pair of scores on 11 receptions. The loss also spoiled an effort that saw the team compile the most yards it ever has under head coach Marvin Lewis (545), and the setback dropped the Bengals to 4-5 on the season, a distant second in the AFC North behind the 7-2 Baltimore Ravens.

New Orleans is in a similar situation, having lost two of its last three games to watch a 5-1 record become 6-3. The Saints, who continue to lead the NFC South by a game over both Atlanta and Carolina, suffered a 38-31 setback to the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field last week.
