I am not an LSU fan by a long shot (Go Blue!), but the amount of talent on that field last night was wild. From the backfield, to the line, out wide, and all over the dang defense. It’s wild that most of those kids will be back next year, but many of those guys will be drafted. So who would you like to see drafted by the Saints?

Moss might go back to school for one more year (according to Mike Detillier based on whatever his draft grade comes back at). I really like the way Edwards-Hellaire runs. I'd also like Jefferson opposite CGM. Delpit looks like he's going to be a stud.

Besides the quarterbacks, both running backs were impressive last night. Although I don't think they will be on our radar.

I do like Delpit, he is the kind of player that can bring attitude and fear to a defense.

You also cannot go wrong with the defensive linemen of both teams.

Too bad they don't draft LSU guys.
You may be surprised but that may change soon.

The reason is simple. The saints rely a lot of the comments of people they trust about players and their college careers. They were close to Urban Mayer and that was the reason we started getting a lot of Ohio State players.

This is the same way as Bellichick works, he has made close contacts with some universities and tend to draft from them.

Now Joe Brady is at LSU, and he arrived recommended by the saints. Just look at the weekend, how the saints received LSU at their facilities.

I am sure that the saints will take in high esteem whatever Brady (and Coach Orgeron) will tell them about the prospects.

I can easily see an increase of LSU players being draft by the saints as long as Brady is there.

Delpit will go to early to be in our range.

1st round: Jefferson. Next to MT13 we would have the best 1-2 WR punch in the NFL.

Not sure where Helaire will go, haven't really kept up with it, but I would like to try to get him also as Kamara insurance. That kid has heart, and there's nothing that can top that

The talk about #22 is that he'll be a second round pick.

Is Moss a big WR or a Tight End?

To Guillermo’s point, this was the greatest college football team in the last 20 years. It’s like when The University of Miami was a powerhouse, you couldn’t help but draft talent from the U because there was just so much of it. NFL teams can’t pass up LSU talent, there is just too much of it.

Moss is a TE. A 6’3”, 249 lb. TE.
