Dio/Freddie Mercury for me. I'll geaux Dio 1 Freddie2. Rik Emmett or Ian Anderson can't decide. Total opposites...
But that's just me.
What say u?

Freddie Mercury would have to be up there. Robert Plant, not only for Zeppelin, but how he has changed genres as his voice has gotten older and rougher. It still works perfectly for what he's doing. Third place is a toss up for me between Roth and Joan Jett. Roth was great, but really isn't anymore while Jett still portrays the snarling bad *** chick at what 55-56 years old.

1) Rob Halford ( has the power and vocal range that is incomparable )
2) Bruce Dickinson
3) Geoff Tate ( before his voice gave out on him )
4) Paul Stanley
5) Ian Gillan

For the whole package (voice and showmanship):

Freddie Mercury
Robert Plant
Steven Tyler

Ronnie James Dio & Bruce Dickinson.

Dio, Halford, and Tate are all good choices.

Justin Hawkins from The Darkness as well.
