Though I believe Nirvana was better and more important, I would have to go with Alice in Chains-Would? I first heard it on the Singles soundtrack (great collection of songs). The ending of the song still gives me chills. Staley's vocal is incredible. What's your favorite?

Would is great.

Black is awesome for the slower, emotional song. Outshined if you want to rock out.

Wow what a tough question! I think Would? is in the top 5 of Grunge songs, but I hate naming things as the best, except Radiohead's Creep being the best song ever, although, not Grunge.

My favorite 5 grunge songs in no particular order would be:

Would?
Hunger Strike
Black
Lithium
Outshined

Damn after trying to come up with that IDK if I could even convince myself that's the best 5, there are so many I like.

I think I'd go with a different one from the Singles soundtrack
