And by a long shot.

Encouraging signs going forward.

Simien is going to be some kind of sore tomorrow morning.

Doesn't even matter. A lot of beautiful effort and hard work negated by stupid officials working for a stupid Commissioner.

Well what you do is you don't Fumble the ball on a senseless turnover with 11 minutes to go up 17-10 and going for the kill on their side of the field. The Broncos had no answer for Brees and had we gone up by two scores halfway through the 4th, you could easily tell Simien was not capable of bringing them back.

The game was over if we don't turn the ball over on that drive.

This just goes to show that you have to play well on all 3 phases of the game. It was a cliche' Haslett phrase, but its true.

Thanks for this SaintSproles.

Two fumbles by Thomas, two int thrown by Brees, a nice try of KR by Hightower... that's ok cause we lost because of officials (again).

Rankins, Fairley and Jordan were all dominant. Would be really nice to have a true speed rusher coming off the other edge, but if the DL keeps playing like this they'll win some games.

They are definitely getting better. In the upcoming draft all they need to do is add two or three more pieces and we can begin to talk about being in the top half of the league in all defensive categories.

Simeon hung tough though. He just would not be broken. Breaux appears to be still rounding into form

Brees threw two interceptions statistically, but one to be honest. Thomas tried to secure a well thrown ball and popped it up right into the safeties hands. Thomas caused three crucial turnovers today. Other than one INT Brees was outstanding against an elite defense.
