Off the radar is the fact that the Bears have been exposed. Yes, their defense is still gonna play well each week. But their offense is suspect.

The defense has bailed-out their offense many weeks this season. But it doesn't happen each week. If a team takes care of the ball, it can hang in there with the Bears.

The Cardinals SHOULD have beat them. The Dolphins had their way, pretty much. And the Patriots showed that their offense, although not that bad, isn't consistent.

Here's the "Big IF"...

Let the Bears lose two more games (say... to the desperate Vikings next week, then to the Rams in St. Louis). That would put them with two (2) conference losses.

Then, to complete the "what if," ...let the Saints run the table to finish at 12-4.

Could happen, eh?

Is there a question there somewhere? With a little more improvement, I think we can beat the Bears. The bif IF is if we can stop turning the ball over.
