Bill Paxton dies at 61 (1 Viewer)

Played a lot of fun characters, Chet in Weird Science, BClemms in Twister, Alien, etc. I guess 2016 refuses to let go.

When he was on screen -- you either wanted to follow him on an adventure or punch him in the face.

I also thought he had a one-of-a-kind voice.

Whoa. This is definitely a shocker. He was good in practically every time he played. Loved his role in Big Love.

RIP

met him first as Chet... and it stayed my favorite role.

Private Hudson came close, but alas, couldn't surpass

RIP Chet

Tonight, gonna have a nice, greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray, in your honor.

He was great in everything he did. Besides the films already mentioned I always thought Frailty is an underappreciated movie, IMO. Really shocked by this.

I HATE Near Dark with unbridled passion
But Paxton's performance in it made me rewatch it multiple times

He's a bill Murray type who can seemlessly glider among all types of genres and bring pitch perfect performance to every roll

He was supposed to be the new Denzel in the training day series, no?
