NFL referee Bill Vinovich has still not officiated another Saints game
since the NFC championship fiasco.
That fact has to continue to speak volumes in my opinion. Oh and by the way, he did officiate a Broncos game this season. I wonder if Payton said anything to him?

Wasn't that the game that the Broncos got screwed by a no call PI in the endzone when they went for two after the hailmary?

Can't remember if it was for sure that game.

Because he does not want to come. He gets what he wants - Super Bowls.

Sorry.. I'll always have a man crush on SP... just sayin
im still hung up on the idea that SP, to feel important, has to duplicate what Parcells did. And that is to turn multiple franchises around like a guru. A feat that Bill couldn't even do. If SP goes 3-14 then starts next season 0-3. He may be canned. He should've never left the warm bosom of the Saints franchise.

I'm not even that bitter about SP, but I also think this might be the case. It certainly feels like the move had more to do with ego than anything else.

Well, I'm sure he will be able to get his old job back, DA probably won't be much better if this O line isn't fixed in a hurry.

You can argue that building the same franchise back to the same prominence and firepower you had without your 15 year 1st ballot hall of fame quarterback would also be just as important
