I just picked up some ACH coin on Coinbase. It's a token to provide eth payment via bank and other crypto asset. Sort of like visa or Mastercard. Cheap enough that 50$ can get you ~1200 coins. It's up 1.1k % on the week. Total gamble, but if it pays off...

Nice smoking gains today.

Just curious, for those of you who own BTC or ETH- at what level would either of those have to hit before you’d consider selling? BTC ‘s now around $40k, ETH $3k.. if BTC hit $200k, would you sell? or ride it hoping it hits $1 million? I dont own enough of either to care, i just took a flyer on both so that if it becomes a legit global currency by the time i retire, it’ll be well worth the few hundred dollars i threw at them.. in the case of TSLA (to use a non crypto example)- i got in at $42 almost 6 years ago, and kinda regret (a little bit) not selling when it got up to $900 last year.

Depends on what your objectives and needs are but I think that unless you have a need for the money and presuming that you haven’t made such a large (percentage-wise of your funds available) investment that you need to reap performance, you let it ride - the bull case is still really strong and you should watch for those dynamics to come in.

That's my thinking. If I'd been smart enough to setup and claim those 5k BTC that came with the video game I bought, I'd be practicing parking my Lambo on my yacht. As it sits, I need 8 digits for BTC to become life changing. Given how little I've spent and willingness to lose it, let her ride.

ETH is slightly different. Got enough there if it makes 5 digits, I'm grinning like that proverbial cat and missing canary. 6 digits and life starts to change. 7 and I'm getting a suite the next time N.O. makes the Superbowl.

Don't worry, I'll strongly consider invites for Saints fans from this site. So time to start sucking up if you want in. 🤣. 8 digits and there will be a few suites with themes based on the cuisine of the chef hired to cater.

I think it's entirely plausible that a single ETH coin could be worth $1 million and I want you to know that I'm rooting for you.

Ive always been impressed by the sage advice you dispense here in our little corner of the internet, and you’re a handsome man, but not only handsome- i could see from your very first post that you were someone to reckon with…..

At some point I'll sell, well before $200k. Because I know its coming back down because a bunch of people are going to cash out.

I actually cashed out of ETH maybe a little too early, but then I bought back in when it went down maybe a little too early, as well. I cashed ot of BTC right near the peak, but again maybe bought back in too early, well above the floor. Hard to be perfect I guess

I ended out coming out well ahead so it was a good move in.the end.

Unlike stocks, crypto doesn’t have much backing its value. For example, with stiocks company valuations can be tied to revenue and even hard assets like real estate. Which is why I think any sudden increase in crypto is ultimately a speculation bubble.
