I downloaded the Cowboys game to help me forget about the Skins game, but I'm having technical difficulties. When I play the file in Windows Media Player, I get audio but no video. What's the deal?

Any advice is appreciated.

Ok, another dumb question. How do I change it so Windows Media Player is not the default player?

1. Right Click on the file.

2. Open with.

3. Choose program.

4. Select Program

5. Select 'Always use the selected program to open this kind of file'

Got it working. Crisis diverted. Power to the Super Forum.

Thanks all.

Videolan from www.videolan.org is also an excellent do-it-all player.

Videolan and DivX are nice programs that like people and are friendly to all.

WMP, RealPlayer, and Quicktime are not so nice programs that have trouble making friends with other formats.

And codecs is the key word here. That means "co"mpression-""dec"ompression. Think of them as drivers.
