Screw Rodger Goodell. What a miserable day - and, ultimately, year.

More like the anniversary of the day that the Saints organization was used as a scapegoat by the NFL in order to show how much it "cares" about player safety in the wake of upcoming head injury lawsuits by former players.

They are mean and nasty, we ran an illegal pay for injury program.

Pay for performance? Yes.
Pay for injury? NO!

It's when I joined SR; the injustice and hypocrisy of it all infuriated me and my heart ached for the coaches and players. Pat Y and Jeff D can write all the columns they want about how noble Goodell and the NFL were in what they did to the Saints, it's BS and Goodell got an embarrassing big black eye because of it. As for those two, Saints fans hate them and so do the players. Real journalistic accomplishment. Big high fives.

That's my point. Those teams put "hot sauce" on players. And are seen as Mean and Nasty. Not dirty.
