First let me say I would never condone this. The father should not have allowed his child in such a rickety looking stand. I don't see a harness on the kid, and you never fire into a group of deer. Always know what is beyond your target. Taking all of that into account though, it was pretty lucky. And I love how they got up the next morning to go look for the deer. A lot of guys would just leave it.
