I respect you for trying something different around here.

It needs it.

Thinking about a long vacation.

"All I ever wanted."

He looks a lot like Che Guevara in a moment in time.

I wonder if David Bowie ever really panicked when he came to Detroit in late 60s/early 70s? That city throughout it's long, once-successful, now-desolate American Pompeii industrial and urban landscape has never been a place where posers could fork around and try an establish a serious, credible reputation that wasn't solid. They were hardcore punk, metal before most fringe music journalists ever dreamed of the phrases and its connotations much less conceived of the words. Motown, MC5, Stooges, Don Was, White Stripes, Mitch Ryder and the Wheels, and Alice Cooper before they regrouped and resettled in Los Angeles, rehearsing and performing at Frank Zappa's palatial home in Laurel Canyon, a nice, bohemian, artist retreat commune in Hollywood Hills in mid-late 60s which in the 1920s was where film giants or popular celebrities like Charles Chaplin, Groucho Marx, and Harry Houdini lived or rented homes.
