Prairieville/Geismar. i don't go there often. maybe once every few months. now, 13 years ago when i first moved here, it was terrible. but like 7 or 8 years ago it closed down for about 6 months I'm assuming because it was just so badly run. but eventually "under new management" showed up on the sign and it opened back up.Where is this mythical Popeyes that gets your food ready and accurately within a reasonable period of time by using their app?
I always liked the sheer confidence of the "welcome back to Popeyes" at the drive thru. Like "we know this aint your first time here what you want?"I rarely have order accuracy issues, and I really can’t be bothered to care how bubbly my fast food worker is (re Popeyes)
Especially since Popeyes has actual flavor
Is "what you want" required of their customer "service" reps?I always liked the sheer confidence of the "welcome back to Popeyes" at the drive thru. Like "we know this aint your first time here what you want?"
I usually get "order when ready" or "what can I make for you" after "welcome back to Popeye's". But I never have issues with my order there especially compared to other places. I feel like chicken places have it a lot easier than others. Don't have to deal with no ketchup, no lettuce, add onions, etc. Just what kinda chicken you want and what side?Is "what you want" required of their customer "service" reps?
It's said at every location.
I usually answer with "chicken."
They rarely have it.
I've had more than a few orders wrong with app ordering. Not just Popeyes. Idk what it is, but other then CFA, restaurants here seem to botch every other order. None worse than a pizza place here. Every time I order a specialty pizza with additional toppings, they rarely put the right toppings on. Worse, when ordering for a group, they jack up the labels on the box half the time.I've never had an issue with the order being wrong (no more that any other place, cfa included) but i 99% of the time use the App, so i don't have to deal with the service.
Oh, that happens occasionally here too. Usually no spicy. Is "what you want" required of their customer "service" reps?

one has to ask…None worse than a pizza place here. Every time I order a specialty pizza with additional toppings, they rarely put the right toppings on. Worse, when ordering for a group, they jack up the labels on the box half the time.
They keep raising prices and the food is the same or worse and service is clearly worse than ever.
Well, it's &Pizza. They're only in the NE, and the concept is pretty good, but their service has fallen off a cliff in the last couple of years.one has to ask…
Aptly named, husband had a one the other day, hated it. He said the chicken was OK, but it was the nasty sauce they overly slathered on that ruined it.a spicy chicken hate sandwich sounds good.
I had Gus' at the original in Memphis and I thought it was pretty good. I had it here in Metairie and it wasn't the same. It reminded me of my experience of having Popeye's in California. I was visiting my brother in Burbank and the closest Popeye's was in Pasadena. It was around 12 miles or so away, but it took 45 minutes to get there. The red beans were crunchy and didn't taste like the Popeye's beans I was prepared to inhale. It's been my experience that some of these chain restaurants taste different/better at the original. I had Hattie B's Nashville hot chicken in Nashville and was not impressed. I don't' know if it applies to all Brother's locations but the one in Laplace has some really good chicken. What about Gus’s Fried Chicken? I went once in Metairie. Tried fingers and a dark meat on the bone combo. Wasn’t impressed.
