Boycott Chick fil a? (4 Viewers)

Oh look another backhanded witty quip by someone who didn't understand or care to understand what I posted.... Yeah, I can see you are pretty wound up about this subject... I never said DEI was some bad thing or really give an opinion about it either way... I do think it serves a valuable propose for employees/work environments... But that's not at all what I said, or was getting at... My point was about the hilarious absurdity of these mega corps making very public stands one way or the other to get publicity. I've been in leaderships roles... I prefer engineering where I am now, because tech is predictable... and people are emotional, knee-jerk reactive, beasts of regurgitation, habit, and they feel the unrelenting need for acceptance into a group-think tribes... The fact that you took what I posted as "I don't care about DEI"... says more about you than it does me... My point was clearly about the public image usage of DEI and it's impact to a companies bottom line as it relates to it's perceived public image score... And when do the people and groups being used for this... Get feed up with it? But it's all good... keep chopping wood I guess.
The appt in question happened in 2021. The call for a boycott comes nearly 2 years later. It would seem CFA did not, in fact, make a pr stunt out of their hire. Once again, you are determined to yell "both sides!" when only one side is making a fuss.

Two things I miss from the U.S. : a CFA spicy chicken sammich and spicy fried chicken from the Lowes on Robinhood in Winston Salem... so I hate y'all for bringing this up.

You buggin...Zaxby's has a full menu and actual seasoning on their chicken and they have a plethora (like 5) different sauces.

I just looked at their website, they have a lot more things than my last time there (some years ago). From recollection they had chicken fingers (similar to canes - at least to me they were basically identical) in various forms (in a bun, on a salad, by themselves etc) and the one sauce I tried was basically a clone of the cane's sauce. The toast and the style of fries were all very similar to the ones served at Cane's.

Blue Store chicken FTW....
The wife and I both had it the first day it opened on Jones Creek in Baton Rouge.
Within 30 minutes, both of us were barfing it up.
We've never gone back.
I do hear from many people that it's delish.

The first time i went there (Bluebonnet location), i was taking a co worker home and had to pass right by it. He said stop there so he could get some dinner. When i walked in and was looking at the menu, it had 25 wings for $23.99. I thought it was buffalo wings. So i say give me the 25 wings. a few minutes later he brings me a pan with 25 full size wings. I was like, i misread this situation...lol I called my wife and was like i hope you are hungry because we have enough chicken to last 3 days. I love their chicken, plus you can't beat their prices. and the egg rolls are bomb too. When i am not on Keto, i will go 20 minutes out of my way for some Blue Store Chicken, but not CFA, and thats a fact..lol

I still haven’t tried Blue Store, but really should. Just rarely in BR

Is the best chicken ever? no. But for the price, you can spend $30 there, but if you got the same amount from Popeyes, it'd probably cost you $70. And something i've never seen happen when i've gone there, they have't EVER ran out of chicken like just about everytime i go to Popeyes. Its been a long time since i've been able to walk in a Popeyes and not have to wait for the chicken to cook.

But i laugh in anyones face who Boycotts CFA for simply hiring a Diversity position. The Anti-Wokness has 10x overpowered the made up Wokeness...

Since we have deviated from the sandwich to actual chicken for a little bit.....The Winn Dixie on Airline in Prairieville has the best-fried chicken I've eaten in a while.
Winn frickin' Dixie.
Don't knock it til you've tried it.
