Did we ever get a report on what his injury was? Presumably serious enough that they couldn't wait for him.

As has been said, there seems to be enough new blood to make him expendable, which to be fair has been a recurrent theory on here anyway.

A bit surprised at this. He was on the PUP list and could stay there until week 6 of the regular season and so wasn't taking a roster spot. His injury must be worse than I thought and he should be getting an injury settlement.
