LOL, yeah that could be a big problem.

We could easily make salary cap space. We could also outbid teams. But if there’s some bad blood? That would be a game changer.

I think people watch the Lions so infrequently that they still think of Stafford as the really good QB leading otherwise mediocre Lions teams to 7-9/ the wildcard round with Jim Caldwell. The current Stafford has looked pretty mediocre for a couple of years now IMO. I think I'd prefer Jameis.

He’s not OC here and he may not be here much longer since the chargers and Seahawks are looking at him for OC.

FWIW, Stafford has the same agent as Brees. Tom Condon.

I think you are missing the point. If Lombardi truly feels like Stafford can’t pick up Payton’s offense, this is over before it begins.

No, you're right. I was being trite. And pre-existing personality issues will count against us when it concerns a QB who is sure to be in high demand.

Neither can lead a mediocre team to the playoffs. Stafford has a strong arm but so did Jeff George.
