This would be a no brainer if our cap situation was better. A proven above average QB with something left in the tank, he could be a plug in play QB. I don't see the offense dropping that much with him.

I think part of that is a side effect of being on a terrible franchise for so long.
If he was on any other team, he would’ve gotten a few more.

If we trade for Stafford, then that guarantees Winston walks and we won’t have to worry about drafting QB for another 5-6 years. Wouldn’t be surprised if Winston signs with Detroit on a short contract if that trade happens.
