Reading about Merryman coming to New Orleans and remembering some things said by other Chargers, I believe Drew Brees is a true leader and will have had influence on players he has played with in the past. I've got a feeling that a guy like Drew will get some former teammates to come to the Saints. Does any one know where there is a list of free agents for 2007 for the Chargers?

Quentin Jammer (CB) is another i think...rookie contract will be ending i believe...not so sure.

Suspended DE Merriman to spend time off helping to rebuild N.O.

Per NFL Network he will spend his 4 week suspension helping to rebuild 2 houses.

Say what you want about the guy, but thats a classy gesture.

They signed Jammer to a long term deal In week 1 or 2....so he is not an option.
