Hopefully 5-3 or 4-4.Circle the Falcons home game Nov 10th in red ink for Brees' return.
That's the week after the bye - 8 weeks away. Hopeful we can manage 4-3.

Nope.
I believe this Dr. is pioneering a new procedure for this type of injury where he reinforces the ligament with some type of "tape". (not really tape as we know it but rather a strong material),
He anchors this "tape" over the ligament. Cuts recovery time significantly. So far, it has very promising results. I believe Mike Trout had this same procedure done in 2017.
One thing is for sure, Brees is seeing the very best Dr. for this type of injury in the country-and possibly the world.
I have no idea one way or another but you significantly reduce that risk getting treated in an area that isn't home to a rival.
and these ligaments are 40 years old...anyway..all we can do is wait and hope...you never know...he already came back from having his shoulder shredded...I could be wrong but I've always been told it's better to break something than tear ligaments.
Thank you for an interesting vid......wow, the thumb is complicated! Those ligaments are such a tiny part of the anatomy, but so vital to a quarterback being effective.
When Peyton Manning & Tom Brady both had their knee surgeries, they both got infected afterwards. I asked an Ortho MD how that could possibly happen, when both players had the best care in the world. He said, “1% get infected, no matter what.”
Praying for Drew to have a safe surgery & recovery. Who Dat!
I would like to see Teddy after a full week with the ones and a game plan built for him. I still think he is slow in his progressions and needs to speed it up a little
Hate to break it to you but not everyone in the greater LA area is a Rams can. Some don't even like football. This surgeon is one of the best in the business and like many others takes pride in his work.

this site shows actual surgery lol
Yeah the idea that this renowned hand surgeon that millionaire athletes come to from all around is going to somehow perform a lesser job on Drew Brees because the surgeon lives the LA area is lunacy.
Specialist surgeons are about the biggest egos you’ll meet - they are judged on their work and they believe they’re the best in the business because of the results they get. If Drew’s isn’t a full scale success, the doctor is just as disappointed - it’s his work, his career. Even if he was a Rams fan. It’s just silly.
YIKES!!! I only made it through about 15 seconds of that vid!
