Brees is the least pressured QB (1 Viewer)

The chipping and extra protection has its drawbacks and has bitten us hard on more than a few plays when nobody can get open. How many times has Drew had plenty of time to throw only to dump it off for little/no gain or throwing it away? Granted, it's not as bad as last year or especially 2014, but it still happens way too much. In the glory days, we were able to attack both seams while maintaining crossing/underneath routes AND check down/hot routes. Back then, it was pick your poison. Now, we hope that our man runs a perfect route and shakes himself open.

Having said all of that: this line has outperformed expectations, particularly with all of the injuries, and is likely to get even better as the season goes on. The lowest ceiling is at RT, as ZS comes to play every week but is always going to need help against elite rushers. This offense is still a bad matchup away from struggling on a week-to-week basis.

we used 6 lineman , we chip the DE's , it's really a credit to Sean Payton, and DREW more than the OL

some of Miami's problem is the QB holding the ball too long

We saw in preseason what we have with no scheming

Not true, in preseason we didn't have jahri, and we had peat shuffled around playing on the right side.

When the O-line grades out well:

- Brees's pocket awareness and ability to get the ball out quickly is amazing!!

When the O-line is considered to not be playing well:

- Strief sucks
- Lelito sucks
- Peat is a bust
- Evans is done

Brees is responsible for a lot of average lineman getting paid.
