radio debate between Mike Mayock of the NFL Network and Reuben Frank, intrepid Eagles reporter for the Burlington County Times. Mayock and Frank vehemently disagreed over whether Drew Brees is one of the top five quarterbacks in the NFL.It's the NFL. Statistics are one thing, but wins count.Taking that into consideration, here's my top five quarterbacks in the league.

Peyton Manning, Indianapolis.
Eli Manning, New York.
Tom Brady, New England.
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh
Kurt Warner, Arizona.

You can throw Brees...and trent edwards... in that lineup after the 2009 season!

9 TD passes in two games and offensive player of the year last year. The air pollution in Burlington County must be getting to his brain.

And Breesus rained down 3 TDs and over 300 yards on one of the best defenses in the league the Igles.

That's just stupid. You can say the guy isn't the best QB in the league, and argue about it all day. Fine.

But not even in the top 5? The quarterback depends on his supporting cast, the defense, the special teams, and having a healthy team.

Acookcookachu!!!

Its so odd that people base quarterback play on wins and superbowl rings then in the next breath say that football is a team game.

Drew Brees would lead the world in 4th quarter comebacks but our defense always lets the other team kick a field goal with 0:00 left on the clock. It is not uncommon for people to believe that drew is not good in the 4th because we dont have alot of comebacks.
