The point is that nearly everyone takes whatever is said about something that affects them as if it was said or done deliberately to insult them. Does anyone here believe that Drew was intentionally trying to slight people who have been struck by lightning? Anyone who does has a seriously warped way of thinking. There wasn’t an ounce of malice in what Drew and that sportsbook was trying to do in that promo. They certainly weren’t trying to pick on victims of lightning strikes.

Wow there is such thing as that. I would consider that more of an occurrence/survival than being a victim.

To be a victim of something it pretty much has to be an intentional act committed by someone in order to cause another person harm.
