We have our own inhouse players to resign I don't think we are at the part of free agency where we are bringing in players. Saints take care of inhouse business before dipping into the open market.

It may help us bring back someone like Brown or Rankins. I'd rather pay someone who we know and who knows our system.

To me defensive line is a position we can actually go with what we have or draft someone in the low round or pick up a UDFA. That’s just how much confidence I have in the D-line coach glad we were able to keep him another season.

Pass. Doing what we can to keep Brown is the priority. Look at how bad the run defense was when he went out. Dude is an absolute wall in the trenches.

This. Been hearing it all over for months now that with the cap being lowered this year, a lot of free agents will be signing cheaper, one year deals, and then wanting to hit free agency again next year when the cap goes back up and teams have more money to spend. I hope we can sneak a few of those 1 year guys in and make a run at the trophy next year.
